Phantom Butterflies

Phantom Butterflies is a screensaver that shows a flock of glowing, ephemeral butterflies.

Phantom Butterflies for Mac OS X is a universal binary and may be run natively on Intel or PowerPC Macs running OS X 10.4 or higher. It has been localized in English, French and Japanese.

Phantom Butterflies for Windows is a port of the original OpenGL version. It is presently in beta status due to a lack of thorough testing on a suitable range of operating systems, graphics cards, and monitor configurations. It does not presently include localizations for languages other than English.

New to version 1.1:

  • Fixed a bug in color randomization.
  • Added a "Fast Cycle" option for colors in the options menu.
